Button Operation

Standby Mode

Blade is off, button light is on.

Enter Standby Mode: Hold until the button light turns on. You'll hear the voice prompt "Power On".

Turn On Blade: Quickly tap the button. If it changes the volume, the button was held a split second too long.

Adjust Volume: Hold until the button light flashes once, then release. Repeat to cycle through mute, low, high.

Change Blade Effects: Hold until light flashes 2 times, then release. Repeat to cycle through stable, unstable, pulse, and flash.

Change Blade Effects: Hold until the button light flash 3 times, then release. Repeat to cycle through the12 ignition effects: standard, velocity blade, torch blade, ghost mode, blaster mode, broken, stack, photon, warp, phaser, scavenger, hunter..

Change Sound Fonts:

  1. Change to the previous font: Hold the button until the button light flashes 4 times, then release. You'll hear the voice prompt for the sound font.
  2. Change to next font: Point down hilt and twist the hilt. You'll hear the voice prompt for the sound font.

Power Off: Hold the button past the sound font change until the button light turns off.

Auto Power-Saving: The saber will turn off after 30 minutes of inactivity.


Lit Blade Mode

Blade is on.

Blaster Effect: Tap the button.

Tip Drag Effect: Hold until the button light flash once, then release. Tap the button to deactivate.

Change Blade Colour (Infinite Colours): Hold until the button light flashes twice, then release. This will start the infinite colour cycle. To select the colour, tap the button. 

Turn Off Blade: Hold until the button light flashes 3 times, then release (returns to standby mode).


Gesture Operation

Standby Mode

Blade is off, button light is on.

Turn On Blade:

  1. Twist the hilt quickly in a fluid motion (clockwise then counterclockwise or vice versa).
  2. Thrust the saber forward (e.g. stabbing motion).
  3. Swing the saber in a quick, fluid slash motion (half arc).

Change Sound Fonts: 

  1. Change to next font: Point down hilt and twist the hilt. You'll hear the voice prompt for the sound font.
  2. Change to the previous font: Hold the button until the button light flashes 4 times, then release. You'll hear the voice prompt for the sound font.

Change Music: Point hilt up and twist (counterclockwise and then clockwise). There are  2 sound tracks by default but you can add your own tracks using the XenoConfigurator app.


Lit Blade Mode

Blade is on.

Lock-up Effect: Hold the button and hit the blade against an object. Release the button to deactivate effect..

Change Blade Colour: Point the blade downward, hold the button and twist the hilt.

  1. Auto-Cycle method: Point the hilt down, hold the button and twist the hilt (counterclockwise and then clockwise). This will auto cycle through the 27 standard colours. To select the colour, tap the button.
  2. Twist method: Point the hilt down, hold the button and twist (clockwise and then counterclockwise). You'll hear the voice prompt "Colour Change". Turn the saber counterclockwise or clockwise to see the colour options. Tap the button to select the colour.

Force Effect: Point the hilt up, hold the button and twist (clockwise and then counterclockwise).

Stab Effect: Thrust the saber forward.

Spin Effect: Spin the hilt quickly.

Melt Effect: Hold the button, and stab hilt (twist to change melt colour).

Lightning Block: Hold the button and pull hilt inwards.

Multi-lock Mode: Enter into Lock-up first (hold and hit the saber against an object). Hold the button until it flashes once, then release. Hold for one flash to deactivate.

Multi-lock Mode: Hold the button and swing the saber. Repeat to deactivate.

FOC (Flash on Clash): Triggered by striking the blade. If it's off, turn it on using the XenoConfigurator app.

Turn Off Blade:

  1. Twist the hilt (returns to standby mode).
  2. Pull the saber back or downward with a quick, sharp motion.
